I joined the school in April 2017, after Mrs Jones retired with twenty- one year’s service at the school. I am pleased that the school continues to build on Mrs Jones’ legacy; with it’s excellent reputation, strong Catholic ethos, warm family atmosphere and determination to be the best it can be. At St Mary’s we strive for Academic excellence every moment of the day as well as ensuring that our pupils and staff are nurtured to grow their talents in all areas and above all are happy!

Saint Anne’s class have celebrated Teddy’s birthday! This is part of their learning about preparing for a celebration. This will then lead into our future learning about how we prepare for Christmas - Jesus’s Birthday ❤️.

Thank you to the families who joined us for our two minute silence and Remembrance celebration of the word yesterday at 11.0’clock.
The Chaplaincy team read beautifully and we also read out the names of families and friends that was sent in. Year One made a lovely Poppy wreath and painting of a poppy and we explained the significance of the poppy.
A group of year five and year 6 children at this time also joined the residents at the care home to have a time of remembrance with them and to share memories of world war two and sing songs with them.
Thank you
